High on the side of St. Barth's tallest peak in Vitet sits this brand new, elegant, sprawling St. Barth's CB01 offering a breathtaking view from each of its three high-beamed pavilions. The central pavilion features a beautiful, bright kitchen which can only be described as Rustic elegance. A stainless steel, custom-crafted refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher and apron sink creatively contrast with the beautiful French blue 5' Lacanche stove and large 16" thick solid wood butcher block. The kitchen is also equipped with a deep-fat fryer, a convection toaster oven, a concealed microwave and an Italian espresso machine. All of it is set against a background of dark fuschia scala-finished walls creating a warm, bright and inviting atmosphere. It's a gourmet cook's delight! Four steps lead down to the sunken living room, which opens off the kitchen and dining areas, creating an airy, expansive feeling. The room opens out through 4 French doors arranged in an arc to the tiled terrace and heated pool, master suite and guest rooms. Directly across from the main living pavilion lies the master suite with a second set of steps leading to the 'edge' or 'infinity' pool. A canopy King bed, couch, and chair are set against the polished, taupe, scala-finished walls, giving it a very soft and quiet feel. Stepping through the interior bedroom door is the dressing room and Moroccan style, over-sized bathroom. This bathroom is simply spectacular. It is designed as one continuous integral flow of form and color, again with a mix of old and new. The ancient tadilak style finish combines with the modern plume flow fixtures to create something interesting and unusual. There is a seamless flow from the walls to the sizeable freeform bath, its large curved steps, the separate circular shower, an oversized basin, and a separate toiletries/makeup area. Yet another view of the ocean and wash of the Caribbean breezes are yours for the taking. Winding around the Master suite and through a double door wooden gate lies the guest pavilion. It contains 2 bedrooms juxtaposed and connected by an outdoor kitchen. The first guest room has a queen sized 4-poster bed, small table and chairs and love seat. It is finished in yellow scala and has a large bathroom and roomy shower w/seat, and of course a spectacular view. The twin guest room is finished in light lavender, has 2 twin 4-poster beds, and built-in wall-to-wall double bunks for reading or just relaxing. The bathroom also contains a large shower and seat. Its aqua colored finish complements the view of the aqua Marigot Bay below. Rates
Prices include daily maid service except Sunday and holidays (which on this island are too numerous to list, so additional arrangements may be made through BP Transportation to cover those days, if necessary).
